CLASSIC BLUSH CANTON OHIO WEDDING, CHATEAU MICHELE
I am so incredibly blessed to have been a part of a simple yet classic wedding this past weekend. Thank you Ohio for whisking away the rain and snow from last week and brining a day full of warm weather, clear blue skies and sun! I met Rachel and Eric through the wonderful Valerie of of Perfectly Planned By Val. Simply another reason to love being a member of The Rising Tide Society, as I have had the opportunity to connect with some many other creatives and beautiful people in the wedding industry. When Rachel and I first spoke on the phone I was beyond excited because I knew it was going to be a great fit! Rachel is extremely laid back and just a truly sweet and caring bride. While she voiced that she was a little nervous about being the center of attention for a full day, you would have never known. She looked like a true princess and has an even more beautiful soul.
We started our morning with some stunning detail shots and I was beyond giddy to see all of the gorgeous decor Rachel included in her day. The Chateau Michele in Canton, Ohio is small but elegant venue, and the perfect place for a simple, yet romantic wedding. I was elated to see how everything came together so beautifully as I edited through Rachel and Eric's day. And when a photographer has the opportunity to get a dress shot like that, swoon!
Rachel made the decision early on to have a first look and she was so excited to share this special time with her and her groom prior to the ceremony. That day, she decided to include family and friends in their first look and it was a beautiful moment as they still had the opportunity to share in seeing their love light up as they saw each other for the first time! Then it was off for some bridal portraits in the beautiful Ohio sunshine!
The ceremony was simply perfect and made even more sweet as the officiant asked the bride to turn around so that her captive audience could enjoy one more look at the beautiful bride. While I don't know that it helped anyone's nerves it was a very cute and sweet moment and I think family and friends really appreciated having the opportunity to let Rachel know how beautiful she truly looked! I enjoyed watching their children be apart of their ceremony - and oh, what sweet and beautiful kids!
Before we knew it, the last part of the evening was already upon us. As I walked into the reception area, I was blown away by how elegant and put together the whole decor was. I was even more stunned to find out, the bride herself designed all of the table pieces and reception decor. It was truly elegant and could not have been put together more beautifully. The floral cake and additional deserts were a sweet icing to all of the reception decor and it was fun watching Rachel and Eric very delicately serve each other their first cake as husband and wife. It was a relaxing and fun evening and I am so grateful to have been a part of it!
