This past Saturday, I spent a perfect sunny day at The Barn at Sugarcreek, outside of Sugarcreek Ohio for the sweetest country wedding.  I was beyond tickled to see how positively perfect Cody and Tina's turned out.  With Hurricane Hermine on the move, the weather for Saturday originally called for 90% chance of rain. While we did see some wind (some being a little bit of an understatement) it was an absolutely gorgeous day otherwise, and the rain held off until everyone was dancing happily inside the barn.

We started the morning at Carlisle Inn just a few minutes down the road from the barn where the girls finished getting ready and Tina had the most emotional first look with her dad.  As an only child and an absolute daddy's girl, I wanted to make sure this moment turned out perfect for her.  Tina already knew before I even arrived that she wanted to walk down the grand stairway in the hotel lobby and greet her dad at the bottom.  I think the entire room was entires and the day had barely begun.

I love Cody and Tina and was beyond honored that they included me in this moment of their lives.  They are two country lovers at heart and Tina has the cutest crafty side, so I knew everything was going to turn out perfectly and it really was.  Tina did not skip a detail as she planned her big day and I absolutely adored all of the memorabilia of loved ones that they surrounded themselves with, even if they couldn't be there to celebrate with them.

After a short and sweet ceremony we took a small stroll to a private residence nearby where we were blessed with permission to take bridal portraits.  It was the perfect way to sneak the bride and groom away after just saying "I do" and I couldn't have asked for a more ideal location.  We found some open shade and evening sun and captured some of the sweetest bridal portraits.  Bless professional makeup, because through all of Tina's happy tears so far that day, from the first look with her dad to seeing her groom for the first time, you would never be able to tell because she was still an absolutely stunning bride.

The happy couple wrapped up their evening with some amazing food, the most adorable cake and finally with a lot of good company.  I absolutely LOVED witnessing how close they are with friends and family and obviously also adored the bride and groom.  I believe they had the longest line ever for the bride and groom dances and it is always good to see that everyone is enjoying the day.

Cody and Tina, I hope you have a wonderful honeymoon and congratulations on this wonderful start to your lives together!  It was an honor to be apart of it and I wish you both all of the best!!
