I was beyond honored to have been a part of an intimate elopement this weekend at Mohican State Park near Loudonville, Ohio.  It was a simple, elegant, and beyond dreamy weekend and I could not be more happy for Kyle and Breanna.  Oh how lucky we were to have planned this during one of the last snows of winter.  There was a gorgeous white dusting on the trees, and just enough snow covering the grounds to add to the enchanting look of this sweet elopement.

Breanna contacted me a few weeks back and asked if I would be interested in photographing her and her fiance's elopement.  I was immediately tickled, I love the intimacy that small weddings and elopements provide for couples.  While I love big weddings as well, I think too often we can get caught up in all of the planning and the little details and forget about the big picture.  Love.  Kyle and Breanna put their love at the front this weekend and just enjoyed some quality time together.  It was such a blast spending this time with them.  There was no rush to stick to a timeline, no family to attend to, no opportunity for anything to go wrong.  It was just the two of them at a place where they hold their memories close.

Kyle and Breanna enjoy frequenting Mohican Forest throughout the year for fishing, hiking, and simply enjoying life.  This is where most of their memories begin, and this is where their journey officially starts as husband and wife.  Breanna also invests a lot of time on these trails, running and training for her races and athletic events.  Of course, it was crucial to include that little piece of her heart in their wedding with the perfect pair of running shoes.

I love everything about this session and I could not have been more excited to be a part of this day.  Thank you so much Kyle and Breanna, I am so happy for you both and wish you all the best!
