Strawberry Pancakes And Belly Laughs
I don't typically make new years resolutions. I don't believe in the hype that a new year brings because if that is the only thing motivating me, I know it will fade quickly. However, this year I decided I would just try to live more conscientiously. My new years resolution for 2016 is just to live. I don't want to just go through the motions of the day to day. I want to laugh with my daughter. I want more date nights with my husband. I want to soak of the sunshine and play in the rain. Too often we get caught up in our own "business" and forget why we're here. I want to soak up God's word. I want to sit down for breakfast. I want to wrap up in a blanket, sip my coffee and watch the sun rise. I want to exercise each morning so that each day I feel healthy and alive.
Project 365 is still ongoing, but it is taking on a new name. Every Friday I am still sharing a little sneak peak into our life, but it is coming from the perspective of the Kaiser Cabin. While I am still putting in my best effort to take pictures every day, you may not see pictures from every day. There may be a theme for the week or it may be little bits of our week pieced together. But I am thrilled to share with you life in this house...
IN THIS HOUSE... WE MAKE STRAWBERRY PANCAKES.
Sunday mornings are for sitting down for breakfast and making strawberry pancakes. And your puppy trying to sneak a few bites.
IN THIS HOUSE... WE PLAY WITH BLOCKS AND BELLY LAUGH.
Night times are for playing and learning. For building towers and knocking them down to just laugh over and over again.
