EDGY, FALL SENIOR PORTRAITS, MILLERSBURG OHIO, WEST HOLMES SENIOR
Before you even start browsing her photos, let's all just take a moment to appreciate this beautiful West Holmes high school senior!
The day before our session, Kate returned from her second (yes, second!) trip to state for high school tennis. I continue to have the most amazing teenage girls in front of my camera who are full of determination, strength, and are absolutely stunning both inside and out.
OK, now that I am done bragging a bit, we can talk about how amazing this fall session senior portrait session was because while all of my senior clients are stunning, they also just happen to have the best taste in clothing choices.
To start, we met at the West Holmes high school tennis courts where it was obviously important to Kate to have some portraits at a place she called home for the past several months. It was a bit chilly and the wind was threatening to blow us all away but I LOVE how these turned out, and especially adore the classic shots in her letterman's jacket. While red and blue were never my colors...I must say they look pretty sharp!
Then it was off to our second location at Fire Ridge Golf Course. Kate and her mom did an awesome job in choosing this location and we had some really stunning scenery to work with that complimented Kate's style perfectly. Of course, all fall sessions are a favorite of mine, but I was mostly in love with the "edgy" overall look of this gallery.
And to say that Kate rock's her portrait sessions would be an understatement. Her mom always jokes that Kate always did love to be in front of the camera when she was younger, but it is really no surprise, she is an absolute natural. I am pretty devastated that after three sessions together this was officially our last one. Kate makes my job look easy as she transitions easily from one pose to the next, remaining perfectly natural which is not an easy feat for most while the camera shutter snaps away.
Kate and Melissa, thank you again for the laughs over the past several months and all of these perfect sessions together. Have fun in the musical and enjoy the rest of your senior year!
