A styled anniversary session that dreams are made of!

Two weeks ago, I casually mentioned to a group of local photographers and other creatives that I was just looking around for something fun to shoot and expand my creativity a bit while I had some free time!

I think it's safe to say the stars aligned perfectly, because shortly after putting the word out that I was available I received the most exciting message from Jessica.

Wedding Photographer Akron Ohio

Paul and Jessica have been married for 10 years in June.

Yes, 10 years, let's just take a quick second to celebrate that before going any further!!

Jessica contacted me and asked if I would be willing to help her out with a last minute styled shoot she was putting together for her and her husband.  Naturally, I replied in a heart beat!  As it turns out, she has been dreaming of this shoot for a while; unfortunately, the photographer she had lined up originally was no longer available.  Rather than worry about it, she planned to just put the shoot off a little longer until this summer when their anniversary came around.

She had originally dreamed of a session during the fall in front of a lush array of perfect fall colors and brown foliage.  Like I said, the stars aligned with my availability and I LOVED her ideas for this session so we made it work in less than a week!

Jessica has some wonderful friends who also jumped at this fun opportunity and from her stunning hair and makeup to her beautiful bridal bouquet, Jessica arrived looking like bridal perfection.  Of course, Paul looked pretty great too!

When they first arrived at Secrest Arboretum in Wooster, Ohio I was BEYOND excited.  I was so happy for her that this was really happening and she was picture perfection.  Every last detail was so beautifully unique, from her vibrant hair to her matching wildflower bouquet.

We found the perfect little spot nestled amongst some beautiful pines and the last remaining colors of fall.  There were two cleared paths amongst the brown foliage Jessica was dreaming of and we spent the next 60 minutes just having fun!  What a dream it was to photograph this anniversary/bridal session in such a relaxed environment and really letting Paul and Jessica's love take the stage.

It was such a fun session and something I would do over and over again given the opportunity.  Thank you Paul and Jessica for including me in this fun event, this special milestone, and a session that photographer's dreams are made of.

Congratulations and happiest of anniversaries!
