Do you offer trial edits?

No - My goal with the free consult is to eliminate the need for trial edits. Once we’ve moved on to the style consult, I’ll ask detailed questions to ensure to I feel confident with the directions being provided. I do encourage starting with a portrait session, prior to the first wedding. If that’s not possible, I send back small percentages of the first 1-2 weddings for review before finalizing an entire catalog. We’ll work together to make learning your style a smooth, seamless process!

Will someone other than you be editing my photos?

Absolutely not! Gosh, what a headache that would be. I do have an associate editor, but we each have our own individual clients. I fully understand the fear of sending off an entire gallery, and having work returned that is not consistent or doesn’t even look like your editing style. We can completely eliminate that fear by working 1:1.

Do I have to send you all of my work?

No. The beauty of outsourcing is that you can start with as little or as much as you want. If you’re nervous about getting started, whether due to cost, style, etc. I completely understand. I’m 100% open to easing you into the process. You can maintain full control over your budget by sending a percentage of your weddings or a percentage of images per catalog.

Do you have a contract?

Oh girl, I sure do. If you’re ever in a professional working relationship without a contract, you may want to reconsider. My contract outlines everything agreed upon between both the Photographer and the Editor, prior to getting started. It’s just a great way to put all of those verbal agreements into a trusting working relationship. It’s a safety measure to protect your business and mine!
