Lifestyle Newborn Photography, Farmhouse Style, Northeast Ohio

I don’t photograph newborn sessions often, but when I do, I hope they’re all this special. Rachel and I have been friends since Kindergarten, and it felt so special to see that relationship come full circle and photograph this milestone moment for her family. The art of storytelling is particularly important to me, but even more so when I know the background of a session. Rachel grew up right down the road from this beautiful farmhouse, that her and her husband Jeff recently remodeled. From the beautifully preserved details of the home, to Rachel’s family farm in the background we had the perfect backdrop to tell this love story.

When I photographed Rachel’s maternity portraits, I just knew that her upcoming in-home newborn session was going to be even more incredible. Just as I predicted, every last detail came together beautifully. From the nursery to the outfits and the natural scenery that beautiful, rural Ohio provided. Throughout the session we laughed at how strong the “Little House on the Prarie” vibes were. Tell me you don’t feel it too when you look at this beautiful session. We had the adorable farmhouse, a prairie, flowing dress, sweetest couple and beautiful, baby boy. What more could you ask for in a session!
